Hi folks,
Apologies if this seems elementary. My 1994 940 Turbo simply has the "940" moniker on the trunk and does not include the other designations (e.g. GLE, SE). I'm shopping around for a windshield and apparently there is a difference in glass sizes based on this designation. Is there any way to tell which series this car is? Although not marked as such, apparently the GLE and SE trims were still in effect in 1994.

the SE had an independent rear suspension versus solid axle on the other trim lines.

 

Or try typing the VIN into Carfax and it should say what it is.
