Tech help!! Window stop programming
Hi Guys,
I am new here, and needs some help.
My Driver side window was replaced, but the installer could not set the stop for the "one touch up".
Using that, the window winds all the way up, but then down again. Manually it works OK.
For down it it stops about 25mm from open, again manually it is OK.
Initially I assumed that the position sensors got disturbed, but the installer pointed out that these things are noadays computer controlled, and the programming of the car's computer needs to be adjusted.
He tried pressing and holding buttons etc. but failed to find the correct trick.
If anyone perhaps had a similar experience, and found the solution, kindly share it with me otherwise I will have to take it to the agents.
The cost is not the problem, the glass guy will pay, but the sclep!!
Regards
Cecil

Thanx Tech Admin,
I have tried, but to no avail!
Maybe I did something wrong.
I assume the ignition must be swiched on and remain on throughout. Any other requirements? Door closed etc?
I wound it up to the top manually, rested the switch and then held in up position up for 5 secs.
Then wound it down, manually, rested switch, and then held in down position for 5 secs.
Please be patient with me.
Regards
Cecil
