Hi folks,
Apologies if this seems elementary. My 1994 940 Turbo simply has the "940" moniker on the trunk and does not include the other designations (e.g. GLE, SE). I'm shopping around for a windshield and apparently there is a difference in glass sizes based on this designation. Is there any way to tell which series this car is? Although not marked as such, apparently the GLE and SE trims were still in effect in 1994.

There is NO difference in sizes. They simply go by computer data bases that have all these variations listed with prompts that makes them ask but it really doesn't apply in this case. Whatever you tell as far as SE, GLE you'll still get the same glass size. There might be some difference as far as shades but I doubt it. I believe all 940/960s have the same size windshields.
