New out is a gasket kit to fix a leaky transfer case instead of paying 3100.00 for a new unit. Not sure were to get this but my mechanic told me that he is able to get these just within the last week or two. Any one else having this problem? Also a tidbit my mechanic looked at my timing belt and said it was in need of replacement immediately. My car only has 123000 KM or 78000 Miles give or take. My owners manual says it is good until 160,000 Km or 110,000 Miles. I think Volvo needs to reasses this statement and lower the limitation on the timing belt change. If you have the 2.4 turbo and your vehicle is in this range of mileage I would suggest you have your belt inspected. A $300.00 job is a lot less expensive than a $3000.00 job if the belt breaks.
