Hi All!
I'm a newbie to the site. I need any info/help/tutorial on replacing wheel bearing from start to finish. I'm assuming it's my right bearing since the noise either stops or reduces when I move the steering wheel to the right, correct? Now, I am not entirely certain if it is the front or back bearing. My steering wheel vibrates/shimmies slightly at certain speeds 35/40mph >. I am not sure if that's a symptom in addiiton to the loud "whoomping" noise. What parts and tools does this require and a good place to purchase those? Estimate of cost? Time? Skill level? I am pretty decent with mechanical stuff so hopefully this is not out of my skill level.
Thank you in advance!
