Got the VIDA icon working as it should (W7 XP mode) but when I try to logon it goes onto the internet and connects to a Legit Volvo site... Naturally the UName and password will not work..is it supposed to do this? I tried every possible combination to login but I keep getting the "Invalid subscription" thing.. Do I need a different patch?.. "1" and "Admin" don't seem to work like the instructions said..

Vida will only run properly on WINDOWS XP PRO,WINDOWS 7 PRO,
IN XP YOU NEED SERVICE PACK 3, IN WIN 7 YOU NEED SERVICE PACK 1.

 

And thats Exactly what i have ...Win 7 pro SP1, and XP-Pro SP3. Vida RUns, Its the patch that I have issues with...it doesn't seem to patch right..
I've tried the patch that came with the 2012A DVD.. Didn't work.. so I downloaded the 2011D patch...I get a bunch of Question marks like it doesn't know what language it is..and a bunch of errors in the MS-Dos window...I'll try removing VIDA and reinstalling it.. I have crossed ALL the hurdles except being able to login ...I deleted the WSLogin file also... keeps saying "Non valid License"...

 

It will definetely not run under win 7 home, you need win xp pro service pack 3, 1024 ram IE8 or a copy of 2011D to run on win 7 pro only, the program is not written for any windows home os as far as I know, pm me We can arrange something to help you out, I've got a few different copies that you can use if you meet the windows os criteria.

I think that's all then reinstall the vida disk from 3pp on disk wait till icon comes up for vida in your tray
reboot
then add patch, if anyone sees anything I may have missed, please correct me, I've never had ny install problems with my vida disks I've had 2010 B, 2011 D, and to actually contact volvo to diagnose my car I bought 2012B directly frrom them and used a Vida dignostic tool

I have all the right stuff ...was wondering if this... The 1st time i tried to use the program it tried to connect to an External Volvo site... Could the Site have sent a Cookie to disable further login attempts on my Local//host domain? I chose the 2nd Language choice, EN-GB, then ran the Patch on the disc from C:\Vida....it ran so fast I have no idea if the patch was even effective.. so when i get the Login screen it says "Invalid subscription. Could not contact central systems"
