I am stationed overseas and just took delivery of a 2014 S60 and have a few questions that I can't seem to find in the 380 page owner's manual.
1. I don't seem to have any front fog lights. Is this normal? Can they be installed?
2. Does the CD player hold more than 1 cd?
3. My invoice says " Dynamic Chassis" What is it?
4. Outside mirrors are not electrically operated. Is this normal?
Last but not least: Does anyone recommend purchasing a spare tire>
I've been driving the other Sweden brand for the last 20 years so maybe I'm assuming too much.
But having said all that, this car is a joy to drive.

I have CPO 2013 S60 that I purchased a couple of months ago. I may be able answer a couple of your questions.
1. Fog lights are an option/accessory (or part of an options package) and can be added.
2. CD player only holds 1 CD
3. ?
4. Adjusting the L & R mirrors is electronic, and is controlled by L & R buttons, and joy stick, which are on the driver's door. Retractable power door mirrors is an option/accessory.

Spare tire?? I haven't purchased one yet, but intend to do so in order to have one for long trips.

3. Dynamic means changing, so maybe your car has the active suspension that adjusts as road conditions or driving style changes? It was an option on my 2002 so I would assume it could be on your car.

 

1- Fog lights are not an option because of the parking lights.
2- Depends on your CD player.
3- That is just what they call that suspension package. It is not the same as the Active Chassis. I don't remember what the difference is- it's hard to keep up.
4- The mirror glass or the mirrors? Not all have electronically foldable mirrors.

Appreciate your answer but not sure I understand what the parking lights have to do with fog lights. I found it odd that the owners manual does not have any to say about fog lights except for the rear one.

The parking lights (the LEDs on either side of the grille) are the reason for lights are not on the car and are not offered as a factory accessory. There is no info in the owners manual about front fog lights because they are not offered.

 

This thread has info regarding the S60 and the lack fog lights. Why no front fog lights on S60 and XC60?
"the redesigned steering unit does not allow room for the foglights." Still trying to find out which model year was the last year Volvo put fog lights on the S60.
