Default 2021 XC60 T6 R-Design AWD Heated Seats Turning On...

I thought I was going crazy this morning, but my heated drivers seat turned on automatically this morning and it was HOT. It was 85 this morning outside (I live in South Texas) and warm inside the vehicle. I checked to make sure it wasn't on, which it was not. I tried searching to see if anyone has had anything similar in the newer models. I've made an appointment for it to go in because I don't want it to be a short or a bad heating element that could cause additional issues. Also totally random, one fog light stays on even when not engaged - I normally have to restart the car to get it to turn off. Odd stuff for such a new car.

My 2015 xc70 would do that randomly. (seat heater turns on when it is not cold outside). My car was set to have the seat heater come on automatically when the temp was below 50. Sometimes the car would think it was below 50 (when it was not) and would therefore turn the seat heater on. I changed the setting in the summer back to only being turned on manually. (rather than pay to have a ghost checked/not found)

The fog light combined with the seat heater - On my 2020 xc60 all sorts of random electrical problems happened after a rainstorm when water leaked into the passenger compartment due to a problem with a sunroof drain and damaged a module. Has your car been parked outside in any recent large rainstorms?

Luckily it is a lease so they'll take a look at it but more than likely it won't present the issue, but maybe it will... That is what I was thinking also but I was five minutes into my morning commute when things began to get toasty.

It's garage parked but I do take it through the carwash frequently since we live in a dust bowl. I haven't noticed any leaks but I'll mention everything to them. Thank you for the reply!
