I received my 2022 XC60 Recharge with the Inscription trim three weeks ago. I love the car, it rides great, is comfortable and I haven't had many issues. The one thing I am upset about is that the Inscription trim is supposed to have massaging seats. When I went into the seat adjustments on the center screen
, utilizing the massaging seats was nowhere to be found. I contacted my dealer who contacted Volvo. Volvo advised that they are not available on the 2022, even though the information on the seats on the Volvo website say they are. Has anyone else had this issue?
They are constantly changing the features, especially during these times when labor shortages can mean some features are no longer available. I was in the business for 20 years, manufactures such as Volvo for the most part assemble all the parts from various venders between four wheels and call it an 'automobile'. Volvo does make some of the car in house, but like your window sticker say's, there are parts in the car from just about every corner of the planet.
I have much of the same option package you do (see below in signature), but sadly don't have the massaging seats either. But I just got back a few weeks ago from a 'days travel' each way to Raleigh and it sure was comfortable anyway .
Enjoy your new drive, it's a great car.

Thank you. It's still frustrating that something that's listed is not available. I did now it wouldn't come with the kick to open rear gate, but nothing was said about the seats.
We got a 2022 XC60 Inscription with the Nappa
leather WITHOUT the massaging seats as well. We did read the same thing you did, that it’s supposed to have the massage seats. Such a bummer!

I found out the the Volvo XC60-Recharge made for the US, does not come with massage seats. If you want massage seats, you have to step-up to the XC90. To see the massage seats for the XC60. You can go to the international website for Volvo. volvocars.com/intl/xc60.

I don't have them in my '21 model (see options below in signature) but they were available I think in the option package with the fancy radio. I think it was around $5k for the pkg. I had to get my car in a dealer transfer from N C, as it was the closest in the SE to what I was looking for. My dealer did have the exact car one week prior . I saw it the day the customer took delivery.
