I recently ran out of gas in my 91 volvo 240. I put more gas into it and it wouldn't start after I added gas. I expected it was the fuel filter clogged but when I got underneath it to change it I noticed gas leaking from the front of the car. I opened the hood and started looking around and found that it was gushing gas into the air intake hose and the exhaust. I'm guessing it may be the fuel injectors clogged but not sure. I put some seafoam in the tank and it didn't help any. Any clue as to what it could be?

 

Maybe the fuel regulator is now damaged. I really don't know though, I guess you should wait for someone that has experienced the problem.
