Default 940 turbo rev problem

Greetings all,

My 95 940 turbo runs great until you accelerate hard. At about 3500 rpms under hard acceleration it begins to whistle and then acceleration stops as if there is a rev limiter. The car has only 32k miles on it and I bought it last year. I believe it had been sitting for a while. I had the backpressure of the cat checked and it was fine and I can't locate any vacuum leaks. Possibly related to a wastegate problem? Thanks for any suggestions.

Either it's a blown charge air hose or the intercooler has a Large hole in it, probably , Check the hose coming off the intercooler cold side(side going to intake) .
