Hello,

I am replacing the PNP switch for the third time. The transmission mode selector is flashing off and on from winter to economy. The orange arrow is flashing indicating a need for the transmission to shift up a gear.

I have used the sport mode two times and the winter mode 3 or 4 times in the seventeen years the car has been in the family.

I was wondering if the transmission logic could be modified to not use the sport and winter mode. Is it possible to force the transmission to stay in the economy mode. If the car only had the economyy mode would the flashing stop?
