Advice on my restoring a 760?
I have a 1990 - 760 with a 4cyl turbo that has 200k miles on it. I am fully restoring the car with the goal of making it look and run like it came off the showroom floor. The engine it has runs well but its showing its age like loss of perfomance, smoothness, gas milage. The rest of the car is in great shape with the interior like brand new and the exterior only needs a paint job. I recently put a new alternator, water pump, thermostat, hoses, belts, struts, tires.
Am I better off buying a remanufactured engine or having this one rebuilt? I also have seen some S60 & S80 engines for sale with very low milage and was curious if its a major modification and cost to try and install one if those in my 760?
Your suggestions are appreciated and your thoughts on what this generaly costs?

RE: Advice on my restoring a 760?
I am by no means an expert. However, the S60 and S80's are front wheel drive cars and there most likely would be significant hurdles in using that engine in your 760. If the engine is not using inordinate amounts of oil and still has good compression, etc. I would probably look at rebuilding. You will most likely be out less $$ than if you went with a replacement motor.
