I have a strange request and hopefully there are forum members in America they would be willing to help me.

I really want to have one of those dealer's (or specialist) sticker on the back windscreen of my car, but I don't want one that from the UK, I want one that's from a dealer in America, strange request I know... i.e. I want to make it seem like the car came from a dealer in america, so it has to have an american city/town name

I hope I have explained clearly enough for you to know what I mean by dealer's sticker, I can't even manage to find a picture online....

If anyone is kind enough and willing to help me obtain one of those I will cover the cost of postage etc!

 

This is new to me. I am only aware of the state inspection stickers on the front windshield. Dealer logos seem to be either sticker emblems or on a license plate frame. Maybe someone else will chime in if they have the sticker like you are describing.

 

I hope this will make sense to you. While some dealers still slap stickers on their customers' cars, most in the U.S. now use a plastic license plate surround. And, because our license plates are more square than Euro ones, those plastic surrounds aren't going to fit a Euro license plate. I know our local Volvo dealers don't use stickers. Maybe elsewhere they do.

 

I was waiting for this thread one day! Just like we drive here with europlates ( I have one from france) like I live in france,lol... So essentially you want a sticker from a dealer from here to put on your car..... If you give me a few days, I can have one here from Florida. I can ask one of the guys at the auto auction I go to for one. If you PM me your address I can see about shipping.
