Should I buy an after market axel for my 02 s60?

 

I think the first question is whether OEM axels are even available for you model. Most likely not, so I'd shop a volvo Friendly web store like FCP or IPD and check out what remanufactured brands they carry and go from there. I'd stay away from no-name brands of suspect origin though unless you want to replace again after 25-50K miles. Also depending on what is wrong with the current axles, you able be able to find kits to rebuild (ie say to replace the CV joint etc).
