Hi, I have 96 850GT 2.3 liter that is giving us a code saying the Bank 1 02 sensor in front of catalytic converter is bad. I got a price from autozone of 161.99 for the sensor. I searched through threds in the forum and found some other things to check that could make that code be called up. Can I get these sensors used? is that stupid to ask. and if I spend the $$ will that really clear the code? I cant get an inspection sticker. Thanks for any help!!

 

I'm sure glad that our state dropped the inspection requirement.

I did get a used O2 sensor from a salvage yard and it is working fine. It cost me $25 and yes my code cleared immediately.
