Hey you all :
I have been looking for used Volvo for fun after owning many 240's,etc.
Started with 850's,but under the hood there appears to be too much electronics for my simple tastes.
Today I saw a 1992 940(180k) which was immaculate...price was little high,but it has everything replaced (head gasket,water pump,timing belt,etc)
Apparently it has a turbocharger,but being an early turbo it is not the complicated turbo they later made.
Does anyone have any input?

An 850 has no more electronics than a 940.....

My question then:this is a plain 4 cylinder engine even though it has turbo,
while the 850 and other 940's have the 12 valves.
Any opinions here?

 

I dunno about a 940, but my 97 850 GLT runs purrfect! And no it's not for sale!
