I'm relocating, before the end of June, from Georgia to Oahu and wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what preventative maintenance I should have done on 2004 C70 before leaving to save costs?

I plan to have the oil changed and a tune up, as I assume it would be cheaper to take care of things here in Georgia. The odometer just hit 69,000 today.

I bought it used in 2007 and have not had the transmission fluid changed and wondered if that was something I should do.

I need to be careful about my expenses, but want to take care of my car. I have already put on new tires since I bought it and a new battery and alternator last year.

One tip. Contact the shipping company and find out what fluids must be drained before they'll ship the car. Not much sense in draining new fluids -- proverbial money down the drain. My personal knowledge is outdated since its been years since I've known anyone who had a car shipped by cargo ship (after initial importation, of course).
