I need to remove radio on my 2003 S80. I have downloaded instructions on how to do it but I can't get the climate control unit out. I did angle it toward me and tried to pull down but id doesn't give out.

Help!

 

They are a pain to get out. They can be stuck together sometimes. I have had many cut fingers from getting them apart.

 

Thanks for reply. I am not sure how they are connected together. Is there a clip or something that I could break? The directions that I have downloaded show something like a plastic inserts that does not look like they are locking or anything. I could just try to pull it down no matter what but already broken radio plus cracked climate control panel is not something that I would like to accomplish.

 

There is like metal tabs on the radio side and holes in the climate module. You have to pull down and straight out towards you.
