Default Car disposal help

Hi,
I have a 1999 V70 wagon with a blown head gasket.

Too much money to have repaired. (Multiple quotes ranging from $1900 - $2500)

Junkyard offered me $125. Better than nothing, but is that the best option available? I know I could part it our and make $ bit by bit, but not really interested in that route.

Any suggestions what to do with the vehicle? Thanks for any and all ideas!!

Traditional methods are donation, parting out, and the scrap yard. Parting out is a ton of work. It's good pay if you enjoy it. I daresay most people won't be itemizing tax deductions this year, so donation may be of no value to you. You can try to sell it somebody who wants to fix it, but that may be a lot of work for an extra $200.
