Which car should I park???
I have decided to park one of my cars for economic reasons. Which one do you think I should I park?
My 960 has 98,500 miles on it and has had the following in the past year:
- New t-belt
- New t-belt guides, rollers, etc.
- New water pump
- New tires
It needs the following:
- Fuel odor fixed (I think this pops a P0440 code sometimes)
- Front struts are real bad
- Due annual registration $25
My 850 T-5R has 102,500 miles on it and needs the following:
- A/C evaporator (leaks, have to charge it 12 oz every 4 weeks).
- Possible heater core soon (sometimes I can smell a hint of antifreeze when I start the car)
- One tire (has impact damage sidewall, egg)
- Odometer just stopped last Friday
- Has small oil leak (I think it's coming from the oil bolt, has wrong washer).
Parking one of these cars will freeze the need to repair the problems and save me a little money on insurance untill I get back on my feet.
Thanks for your opinion.

I voted for parking the R, but here's why. In the long run it will hold more value than the 960. The less miles it has the higher the value. Plus, while it's parked you could take your time and slowly repair all those things that need to be done, doing these repairs as time and money allow.
Yes, driving the 960 will not be as fun as driving the R, but you should come out better in the long run.

only downside is; you wont be able to eat up that rude kid ...lol
I'm planning a 2,000 mile trip out West soon. I think I'll run the T-5R on the trip and park it when I get back.
Hee Hee. I want to get out on one of those streaches and see what it will do.
