Unfortunately for Volvo, in the 2000's, Honda has begun to focus on safety, and in fact, Honda built the world's first indoor safety testing center in Japan, and now has two, one in Japan, and a second in the US with independent testingcapabilities. Volvo's execs have brushed off the challenge to journalists, stating that they have "an eighty year head start"... but I doubt that they are laughing in private. The competition will be good for the consumer, either way.

 

Makes me want to do a 180, and hope it flips !
