Hi everyone, well i decided to clean my k&n filter today..i was following the directions..i used the cleaner spray first, cleaned with water and let it dry...i let it dry for a few hours in a warm room...i went to touch it and it seemed dry. I then proceeded to spray the oil and as soon as i did a bunch of water started to come out of the filter...so i just stood it on it's side to let it dry at that point...did i mess up my filter? what would be a good way of correcting it at this point? let it sit over-night and respray oil tomorrow? these oil filters are a PITA! thanks

I have never cleaned mine yet so I really don't know. If it's not falling apart I think you'll be ok. You can go to their website and see what it says about it.
