I'm wanting to find a diesel Volvo to play around with alternative fuels. Can anyone tell me what years they were produced so I can better search Autotraders and Cars.com? Thanks

It was early 80's 240's and mid 80's 740 turbo diesels. They are pretty hard to find.

My first Volvo was an 85 760 Turbo Diesel. It was a good car, but the engine was made by VW had some problems. I think that car had the best factory stereo system I ever heard.
