I have a '98 v70 XC, with 174K miles and have replaced the driveshaft 4 TIMES [:@]
I have had 1 shaft go bad after 6 months. Has anybody else have ANY problems like this??????
I drive around 40-45K miles a year, and that is why I went with a Volvo. With this kind of performance I do not think I will get another one.

All the work is done by the dealer. Any and all input would be appreciated.

That is pretty common on these cars.
Almost every one has had the driveshaft replaced already.

Im not sure if there is a fix as of yet.

If I owned one and had the problems you do I would trow the driveshaft in the nearest lake and Motor on.
