I have a Volvo v70 2.4 D5 on a 2006 plate. Last week I was on a busy motorway in the rain and dark traveling at 85 mph and the engine simply cut out. I have since taken the car to a specialist who tells me the wiring and injector connectors were at fault. I just wondered whether any one else has had their car cut out so suddenly and how commonplace this is. It is a frightening and extremely dangerous thing to happen.
