Default excited about poss. new volvo

I am so anxious. Wednesday I am going to look at a 97 850T. I was so sad the day I got rid of my 95. The price is decent and the mileage is too. I hope it works out. I so desperately need another Volvo.

Congrats!!

I just lost a good one. I was supposed to look at a 850 T-5 today.
The guy didn't even give me a chance to look at it.
Kept giving me excuses and he sold it yesterday.

I'm trying to not get my hopes too high. Otherwise it may sell or I will over look important stuff. But it's hard.

Default Happy birthday to me!

I got it. It's terriblely dirty with road salt so no pics. It's very clean though. Has more options than my old one to. Any things to watch for in a '97(new) vs. '95(old)? SO happy to be back though.

So tech, you didn't get that blue one? That's too bad. What color is yours Tom? The 850's didn't change much through the years. The only thing on my 97 that I had to do different than on my 94 what the half shims on the rear brakes. I think they are pretty much the same car though.

It's a dark green exterior. I'm taking it to a local Volvo mechanic tomorrow for a good once over.

The ABS module are different between the 95 and 97.
