Flux core wire feed welders?
Anyone ever use one of those cheap(like $250) 120 volt flux core wire feed welders?
I'm thinking of trying to weld up a new high flow exhaust using mandrel bent pipe sections like these

and wondering if these welders are up to the task.
Thanks

But space may make it tough. I really don't want it too loud.
I'm torn between a used 120volt Miller MIG($$$ but good) or a flux core/ MIG combo el cheapo. I've welded with a Miller MIG in the past and it sure was nice having a nice clean weld. But I'm not so sure about the convenience of buying gas???
Ya, a Y would be easy.
Most of these home welders can do flux core or full mig. I have a bottle on the back of mine and only use it when the weld has to look good. Flux core line is super convienent but splatters.
