My 2004 XC70 mirrors have suddenly developed a glitch that has me beat. Without warning, they've suddenly decided to act up,: when I push the fold button, one folds in while the other folds out. I've tried folding the left out then pushing the right out, and vice versa, but that didn't work. I've then pulled the right hand door card, unplugged the right mirror in the out position, then folded the left out before plugging the right back in: no joy. I've tried every trick I can think of, but they simply will not co-ordinate. All other functions are fine.

Anyone out there had the same problem, or know what the answer might be?
