Default Rear view power mirror adjustment and defroster problem

Hello, I have a 2002 xc70 and the issue I am having is the right rear view power mirror and defroster.
When trying to adjust the mirror by pushing on the controls on the driver door panel a clicking sound is heard from somewhere in or near the passenger door but the mirror will not move. The same thing happens if I hit the mirror/rear window defrost button in the center console, the sound is heard from the same area and only the left mirror is defrosted. The left rear view mirror works fine, both adjusting and defrosting.

I have checked the fuses and canĀ“t find one that is bad. Could this be a relay problem or do you have other ideas.

Looking forward to your help!

Sounds like a relay issue. Can you gently push the glass in the right mirror to see if it is somehow binding?

I wonder if the passenger door module(window switch) is going bad.
