Its finally here. My sweet S60 R. I freakin love this car. Its just about all i thought it would be and more. the more i look at it the more i just wanna drive it. Im comming up with any excuse i can to do that actually. . Overall i am very happy. I have much to figure out as far as driving it and such, some things that feel a little alien to me. Im sure ill be posting some questions in the appropriate forums. However, The car rides like an absolute dream. so comfortable, the whole package. Powerfull as hell too. I will enjoy learing to really *** it to do the things i want it to do.

It has a few cosmetic things that need some attention but not much. It also had in the dash the original price for the car which was 42,620 in 2004, so that fact that i got it for 23,400 at 27000 miles i think is a steal with the excellent condition its in. Im sure a few extra personal touches in the car will do me well. i plan to keep it up and enjoy its presence as i drive it daily. hope to maybe make some meets, and do some track time with it.

only thing i can think right now that would make my car look even more bad a$$ is...well....obviously,

I will be pretty easy to spot driving a Yellow T5-R. Actually maybe not there is 3 other ones in the area.

Well untill the warranty runs out i assume the dealership right? its still under warrenty till march of 2008. but other then that should i need some other work done to it. i dont think i would have an issue bringing it to you. . I think i need to visit the dealership or somewhere to have a mechanic once over the car, make sure things are as they should be?

As far as how does this car compare to my other ones. I have to admit on the majority it doesnt compare at all. My other cars dont really come close to the total package this car is. This car is phenominal. i love it. the style, all of it.

The only differences that are clear cut in my opinion. My 99 eclipse, had some of the best engine response and predictabily with the power. It was a well balanced machine. It was NA

My MR2 (which i am selling) Has go cart like handling and the engine hasnt ever given me an issue. its dependable as all hell.

However my Volvo has it all, power, which im trying to figure out this clutch feeling thing, its weird, and the powerbands are in different places in different gears. the handling is nice, but i havent really pushed it at all so its hard to say how it compares in that area. But the inside and outside of my volvo just blow me away. comfort, a body style i love the most. great cockpit and seats. plus so many other amenities. It truely is one of the first cars ive had that i could prolly take on most of the souped up cars in orlando at a track, but still drive it daily in comfort and noticable style. Seriously in like a few years, if this car is as good to me as my MR2 has been, I swear ill just trade up to an 07 S60 R. I like it that much.



Tech. There are some things i would like to get fixed on my car. But i dont know how difficult it its to do. I need to have one of my front lip aero kit things on the bumper re-rivited. its that difficult to do, or if i want them replaced cause of scratches is that expensive? I think the dealership might do it for me but if i can do it myself or something i prolly would just not sure exactly how. i have a rivit hand held thing. some advice would be fine for me.

 

They aren't all that hard I have replaced them before.
I have the old scratched set still sitting in the garage.

Alot of it is also double sided sticky tape.

I think they are somewhat reasonable and they come already painted.

Tech i know you are quite busy now with circumstances and all. As i said i will pray.

I would however like it, if perhaps when you have some time freed up, maybe we can do lunch, and i can get a crash course is volvo.
