Brand new to this forum
I am looking at a '97 S90 97000 mi bottom dollar price $5000 Car is in very good condition with a few minor scratches. Thought it would be a good safe car for a new teen driver. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Or other models I should consider in this price range.

What is a 97 S90? Is it what they called what was formerly the 960? I assume it's the last rear wheel drive Volvo made. Is that true? If so, I agree with Tech, this is one to jump on real quick.

 

Yes the S90 is pretty much the 960 in 1997 the split the year betwen 960 and S90 and 1998 was just S90.
