Default Google Maps - search recents

For the Android Automotive version of Maps, When I tap "Search", my Recents list does not include street addresses that I have previously navigated to. On my Android phone, the list DOES include those destinations.

Example: I open Search and manually enter something like 123 Any Street. The Maps app finds the address and allows me to set it as a destination. As expected.

Later, I want to go back to that destination. On my phone, the address is shown when I search in Maps, or look at Recents. In the Volvo, other searched destinations such as a restaurant or store name, are included, but the street address destinations are not included.

Is this happening to everyone?

hood on to the button for 10 seconds and let it reboot. That should help but Google has updates that can fix that. Make sure they’re up to date. This is separate from the Volvo software

I did a reboot the infotainment system. No change.

How do I check for (or force) app updates? This is my Maps version

Google settings and press reset once it reset it’ll ask you to automatically update the system press no.

Sorry, but I am not understanding your instructions.

Am I supposed to press the Settings icon in Maps, or somewhere else? I cannot find the "reset" that you mention.

Are you seeing a newer Maps version than what I showed in my photo?
