Hi Everyone, My name is Bob and I've just joined the forum. I've run a 1998 XC on Craigslist for parts recently and received a troubling call today. A woman in Binghamton, NY called me this morning looking for an engine for her 98 V70. After a little cross examination it turns out she had some local mobile mechanic come to her home and do some engine maintenance on the car. After he left the car wouldn't stay running. It backfires and dies. I'm fairly certain that it has jumped time and needs a knowledgeable tech to take a look at it. Since I'm in Ma it's not something I can help her with. Does anyone out there on these forums have a reliable Volvo tech who can cover the Binghamton area? If you know someone who can help her it would be a good thing.
