how do i adjust my vvt on 2.3 T5
i just replaced a few intake valves on my 02 S60 T5 i have the car back together but it runs rough i have been playin with the cam adjustments but cant seem to get it perfect... is their a certain wat i have to set the vvt?
hi when you say you have the top end apart did you remove the VVT pulley?
as if you didn't it shouldn't be out of time all you need to do is set the timing ensuring the use of a locking tool
the timing marks are not helpful if its got VVT because the cam will be in different positions when rotated, so just lock the cams up and be sure the crank aliging mark is perfectly inline then all should be good
hope this helps

when u replaced the intake valve, did u do a valve seat recondition?? valve clearance check?? did u follow vida procedure to reinstall the timing belt or setting of the timing mark?? all this factor could cause a rough engine. btw, why u change the valve in the first place anyway??
