I love these cars but wtf?
I just had my 2000 s40 1.9t serviced. they changed the timing belt because I dont have the tools to do so, it was running great when I picked it up, then today I drove about an hour with no issues, when I departed from my destination, the volvo wouldn't accelerate. I was pressing harder on the gas and it wasn't speeding up then it would finally engage the next gear the car would kind of jump? the RPMs were a lot higher then noraml, at 65mph the car normally does 2500 but today it was 2600 at 60mph it normally does 3-3100 at 80mph but today it was doing like 36-3700. so I just kept it at about 65 for the duration of my drive back home. I got home opened the hood and OIL EVERYWHERE. so I let it sit for about 2-3 hours and went to start it to see where the oil was coming from and found nothing, drove it around the block and the power was back? I most of the oil seems to have come from the front of the engine near the dipstick? I opened the cover to see if the T belt was wet but it wasn't, the timing is correct I think because the car starts up perfectly, no smoke or leaks before this (if this is a leak) i never dog the car, usually cruise at 65-75, iv replaced many things on this car it really wants to die. please help!!!
