I started turning wrenches on the Volvo today
When I bought my car I knew that it was going to need a new oil breather box under the intake because of all the internal smoke that lead me to beleieve the sytem was clogged somewhere, so I ordered a replacement kit for the box and all the hoses off a certain website, and I read up about the procedure on the web, so I was hoping I could figure it all out once I got into it. I went relatively smoothly getting it all done from the top side, the bolts underneath the intake were kind of a pain, but it came apart rather cleanly. I cleaned out the ports in the block, and I have all new hoses to put it back together (new O-rings and clamps as well) so hopefully tomorrow this will be done. Not the worst episode ever, but not the easiest either. This car is rather easy to work on though, I must give it full credit there.
