I luv my 2012 S-60 T5 but the interior quality leaves much to be desired.Ive already replaced top/bottom driver side panels, they broke inside and rattled around.Luckily volvo parts direct haddem for 97.00 total. Any my buddy issa body man so he installed for 75.00.Yes i am slightly overweight .Now the snap that holds the seat memory switch broke off last week.Wow.I think plastic quality is bad..Believe me ive been a injection mold op for 29 yrs..I know poor quality.Especailly when its cold. Mechanically ive been very happy no probs at all. Ive had car 18mo. But geez i feel like i have to treat interior with kid gloves.Anyone else had these probs.

Each model usually has their own strengths/shortcomings and I can't speak directly for a '12 S60 but one of the reasons I bought my '05 S80 8 years ago was the quality I'd experienced w/ my 98 S70. The 70 has bad glue on the door panels and crappy dash tabs but overall it beats my Acura, Infiniti and Chevy experiences.

 

Gee a thought acura and infinity were supposed to be the best of the best...Hmm i guess all models have thier probs.

 

why did you pay out of pocket?? is your car still under warranty?

 

I purchased car w/5000 mi on it.They said it wasnt purchased new..Made me feel all warm and fuzzy....
