Default Jeep guy needing quick help.

Hey I'm new and I drive an 89 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 and doing an upgrade to volvo 746 fuel injectors. Jeep makes a tough motor and transmission but honestly the injectors not great but the volvo 746s appear to work great in Cherokees.

Can someone knowledgable tell me what years and models has these. I've read it's 93-98 every model but need to double check before I go to the junk yard.

Second I've read a few threads about removing injectors on those years. I understand it's differences between years and models. But Is it something that I should be able to do at a JY fairly easy? I just don't want to drive their then need a special tool or them tucked under something haha. I've already removed them from my jeep. Thank you.

Volvos use Bosch injectors, so I'm guessing the 746 refers to the last 3 digits of the part number, ie Bosch # 0280155746. If that's so, you'll find them in a naturally aspirated Volvo 850, 960, S70 or V70 from like 94 to '00. Note that the Bosch injectors are color coded (yellow, orange, green etc) based on the volume the injector provides so if you are doing a built engine, you may want to research the bigger injectors (ie from a turbo etc).
