Hello, it hasn't been often I've posted here, yet I frequently use the resources and knowledge offered up by the many posters here.
The most recent issue I've dealt with was that of my key getting stuck in the ignition (I have a 2000 S40), as it would not turn to position I and wouldn't come out. It was an intermittent issue at first, yet this weekend it was really stuck.
Perusing the forums here I located a number of solutions, but tried the easiest first. I pushed down the 'Shiftlock override' button and vacuumed all around it (it was quite mucky in there). I then tried the key ten times, and each time it worked perfectly, problem solved! (I hope)
I just wanted to put a "Thank you" out there to this forum and all of the knowledgeable and helpful people here.
