Guys being new to volvos...ide like to learn more of the history of them.I was wondering what model yrs were the last of the carburated volvos?And what book would you guys recommend on the history of volvo thanx brett.

 

Only thing I can think of is check Wikipedia and search Volvo Cars

 

I can't say regarding volvo specifically, but in general most carbureted vehicles were gone from USA markets by the early 1980s. It was mostly the increasingly stringent emissions regulations that made carburetors impractical.
