Left axle shaft removal
Hi Guys,
I need to replace my left side front wheel bearing hub. Problem is, as many will have experienced, the axle is seized in the hub.
I have been offered a good condition axle therefore damaging the current one would not be the end of the world.
My question is, can anyone tell me if its possible to remove the 4 hub fixing bolts, free the axle out of the transmission and pull the hub and axle out through the hole in the knuckle that the hub fits into.
I could the just fit the replacement axle and a new bearing and hub.
Thought and comments, very much appreciated.
