Hi,

im new on this forum, and came here looking for some outside input on my 81 245.

starts great in the morning, on the second startbof the day it cranks 10+ times to sart. Then if theres a third time it takes even longer..

This all started after i replaced the fuel lines and new fuel pump. This car also doesnt have a filter, only the in tank screen, which seems weird to me, but i was told its not abnormal.

Could it be the tank vent not functioning properly, which sucks the fuel out of the lines?

any suggestions are greatly appreciated
