Default Looking to buy my 3rd volvo, 2.5T or T5?

I've been following the board for a while and I finally decided to register and write as well.
I'm a big volvo fan, my mother was brought to the hospital in a volvo the day I was born and I only had two cars so far: a 245 GLE wagon diesel and a 850 Turbo wagon.
It's time to buy my third one and I was looking into 2004-2005 V70's and I was trying to understand if I should go for a 2.5T or a T5. I would prefer the T5, but it's harder to find than the 2.5T.
I was wondering if you guys could help me out deciding between the two. Is the more power of the T5 very noticeable? I like the idea of 247 hp, but does it use noticeably more gas?

Thanks a lot!

T5 is more high end power and the 2.4T is more low end power. The T5 will probably use slightly more gas, but nothing that would break the bank, maybe 1 or 2 mpg less.

Thanks gilber, I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully I can try them both before I decide.

If you do most of your driving in the city I don't think it would matter much. If you take trips and like to put your foot in it on the highway you might want the T5.
