My 2007 XC-70 has a bit of excessive oil in the charge pipe and it has always been in the back of my mind. Since I bought the car in late 2023, I have been going through the car and fixing little odds and ends. Recently, I started to run out of things to fix on the car and decided to pull the trigger on replacing the turbo. Since replacing the turbo with a new stock one is about the same price as getting a “upgraded” turbo, I decided to get the upgraded one (19t). Car is completely stock but runs great and doesn’t burn oil.

Question: Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m guessing the car will throw a light with the new turbo or run badly or both? This is the reason I’m looking for a tune.

I tried to contact two folks on instagram (don’t want to name drop them) that do exactly this but I’m not having much luck with communication.

Question: I want to support someone from the community but I’m not having much luck. Can someone point me to someone? I’m trying to line someone up to provide a tune before I get the turbo in the next week or two.
