Making the AWD work ?
Wow, this forum is dead - hope it's just the V50 forum (why???)
Anyways - I have a 2005 V50 T5 AWD - have had it for a year now, and am starting to think about fall/winter/ice/snow again.
The issue is this; the DSC system kicks in when going up a slippery hill, etc, which effectively shuts down the AWD, so it stays in FWD mode, leaving me high and dry and stuck!
Is there some way around this?

First step would be to have the codes in all systems checked.
Sounds normal though. The traction light comes on when the system is active. If it stays on or you get a Traction System Service Required or similar message, then there is a problem.
