Are recalls always current if they have never been performed? In other words if subsequent owners find there are open recall items on a car,is the dealer obligated to fix the problem,or is there a time and mileage limit or only the original owner stipulation?

 

Most of the stuff will be covered for a while.
Stuff like 10 years old they won't do.

Have the Dealer run the Vin# and they will tell you if there is any open on your car.
