Default mysterious fluid on back seat floor

I have fluid on the floor in the back seat on the driver's side of my 1999 Volvo xcawd...it is not on the passenger side.

It feels and smells like anti-freeze but I can't think of how this would be possible.

Coincidently, I have been using a lot of anti-freeze lately.

Any ideas?

Heater core leak, or the pipes going to it. They connect on the drivers side, near the accelerator pedal

Must be a fairly substantial leak if it made it to the back seat
