OK...I am looking to trade in my car for a Volvo. I am looking at Certified Volvos in the 2001 - 2003 model year range.

My question is, all things being equal, what is a better value for the dollar?

A Certified S60 or a Certified S80 (both in turbo models).

Which is more reliable?

Less troublesome?

Less expensive to maintain?

More fun to drive?

The extra size of the S80 is nice, but at this point in my life I really don;t need anything bigger than a S60, so size is not an issue. Besides, we already own a Yukon and a V70, so we have all the size that we can possibly need.

I would really like to hear from you.

My Vote is go for the S60.IMO they are more reliable and better to drive.

if you want more of a sportier car definitely go with the s60, like tech said, better to drive

s80 is more for looks and luxury then s60 as its more of a take your family out to dinner in a nice car kinda car

I would definetely recommend the S80 (especially if it is a T6) because it provides much more horsepower than the S60. Then, you can get an ECU upgrade and increase to an even higher amount. However, I am predisposed as I own one.
