Default Need advice, new-to-me 2002 S80 lots of trouble

I bought a certified used S80 - luckily bought an extended warranty - lots of incidents with bulb function lights, oil leaking (said a plug was missing and needed to take out the interior manifold to replace it after they got in the ordered part) - now having lots of incidents where it will not start. It has been towed to dealers twice. First time, they said it was a faulty sensor to the battery. Second time, they say they have no problem starting it and that the computer doesn't show the no-starts.

Dealer says he will take it back at a loss of $3,500 to me. What should I do?

Yikes! Was this a Volvo dealer? If so, can you give the name and location? Volvo has regional reps that you can complain to. If it wasn't a Volvo dealer, you don't have a lot of recourse, depends upon your state's law. What deductible or monies are you having to fork over that the EXT warranty doesn't pay? If you really are fed up with the problems, you may want to contact an attorney for help. Volvo certified usually means that the car was pretty well inspected, but that doesn't eliminate the undetectable problems that may arise. But, I wouldn't, IMO, take a $3500 beating on a turn in.
